The “Bar Association” acts as a hub of discourse and colloquy for the members of the Bar Association (both bench and bar) to address issues and problems seen through the eyes of the judge and those of the practicing lawyer. Diversity of members and their ideas will be encouraged; elitism will be abhorred.
Sponsored educational forums with “real input” from District Judges will be worth the lawyer’s investment in time and will aid both the experienced and young lawyer to develop a better “handle” on federal practice in the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.
Particular concerns that relate to the administration of justice in the Central and Southern Districts will be effectively voiced to the powers in government through this Bar Association; and those that advance the administration of justice in the districts will be duly commended.
Within this organization, many enduring friendships will be born.
